If You Have Oily Skin

Washing your face frequently with soap can do more harm than rood if you have oily skin. The more you wash, the more oil your skin will secrete. It’s better to wash your face only with water, unless it is :Tally dirty, when a very mild soap can be used.
One thing that seems to help oily skin is a periodic facial mask made with brewer’s yeast. Mix one teaspoon of yeast with enough water or skim milk to make a loose liquid paste. Apply to freshly cleansed skin that has been rinsed with water containing a few drops of apple cider vinegar. Pat the yeast mixture into all areas of the face and allow it to dry completely before rinsing away with warm and then cool water. Blot dry.
Conway, the British herbalist, says that an infusion or tea made from marigold petals “provides the ideal balance” for an over-oily skin.
