International Olympics Committee (IOC) in Beijing last Thursday decided to cancel both the gold medal for relay race team of 4×400m, and bronze medal for 4×100m from Sydney Olympics Game 2000 eight years ago. The Committee made the decision after one of the team of the US relay race team confessed that she used doping during the competition in Sydney.

Jim Scherr, the executive chief of the US Olympics Committee (USOC) said that US respects to the IOC decision, but not also prevent the rest of the relay race team that will ask for the Sport Arbitrage Court consideration. Let’s wait and see the final decision about the medals’ destiny…
