Vary Your Exercise

If you regularly work out, add a new exercise to your repertoire. Do you run? Ride a bicycle. Do you already ride a bicycle? Take a long walk. Do you already have a walking routine? Swim at the local pool.

As you perform this new movement, see if you pick up the rhythm right away, or if it takes some time to adjust to the novelty. Are you using the same muscle groups, or do you feel soreness in parts of your body you never noticed before?
If you’re not exercising at all, start today.
