Go Easy On Salt

You already know this, but salt causes water retention and bloating so you’ll look puffier and weigh more when you get on the scale. More seriously, salt contributes to hardening of the arteries and senility, which you don’t ever want to happen to you.

When cooking for you and loved ones at home, cook without salt, even if recipes call for it. Never add salt to restaurant food. You get enough natural salt in food to stay healthy without adding your own, and pretty soon you get used to the taste of food without extra salt.
